Hands-on with the Verizon Wireless Motorola Droid

We know the release date, we know the price and now we have the first-ever hands-on photo gallery of the Verizon Wireless Motorola Droid thanks to our friends at Gizmodo.  The website was lucky enough to get their hands on the latest Android device coming to the US market and let’s be honest the device looks amazing.  Sitting next to the iPhone 3GS, I quickly find myself wishing that Apple was able to pack a QWERTY keyboard under the screen, but Motorola has done the job for us.  Get ready for the Droid takeover my friends, I’m sure it’s not too late to return that HTC Hero to Sprint right?  Just kidding, both devices are amazing regardless of your carrier commitment.
